Part–Time Assistant Teacher

Monday through Friday from 8:00-12:00

‍Job Overview: This individual will assist the Head Teacher and be responsible for teaching students key learning experiences to prepare them for kindergarten interweaving academics with Christian principles.  They will help maintain a safe, controlled and positive classroom environment that stimulates learning and confidence when trying to master new skills.  Must have good communication skills, classroom management, a willingness to collaborate, and be a team player.  Qualifications:  Minimum requirements are valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate OR a bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree in early childhood education, education or child/youth development OR a Child Development Associate Credential OR a high school diploma and at least 1500 hours verifiable experience working with preschool age children. Continuing education hours will be required on a yearly basis. Must be in alignment with the vision and culture of Lifegate Church.
